does anyone know where the 1982(?) version (not the one that contained Miss Marple) was filmed?  I thought that the village used as Wychwood-under-Ashe looked rather pretty and I should like to visit. Have been to several of the locations of where the films have been shot and in fact we used to live in the village of Nether Wallop for a time where the Joan Hickson village of St Mary Mead was filmed - needless to say although you can recognise much of this location on a visit, it is nothing like how it was portrayed in the films and it is rather spoiled with modern day cars parked and driving throughout the village!
