Unfortunately, I haven't had the pleasure of reading Towards Zero, though I have read a synopsis of the story and it sure caught my eye. It's definitely a Christie I will read soon!
I found this book to be one of the most intriguing of ACs stories. The psychological makeup of the killer and of his intended victim are really gripping - and convincing. I also liked the way Battle gave the teacher a scolding after she had browbeaten his daughter. While I think parents should respect and support the teaching staff, at some points enough is enough and they should stand up for their children.
It's a great book. It's been years since I read it. Maybe I will read again. But I rememeber that until the end, I hadn't the slightest idea of the murderer and the motive. It's really catch your attention.
