I thought would never end.....guessed the ending right a way......anyone think the same?

  • A very eerie novel. And even more than the suspense element what affected me was the tragedy and sense of waste. A novel that is more of a psychological exploration than a regular murder mystery.

    Well said, debaleena. It was written in the 60s when the trend in mystery novels was to delve into the murderer's psyche. This was Christie trying her hand at it and I think that she did a good job.
