    He did deserve it because he actually took the appearance of Poirot that Agatha Christie wrote down in the books and did all the Poirot books which is impressive.

    let us all hope that David Suchet reprises the role of Poirot in any future production of the new novel "the Monogram Murders"

    before seeing the series i was always imaging poirot in my mind when reading one of its novel, and i wasnt and i wont be able to imagine a person who represent poirot then david suchet
