While in London yesterday I made a point of searching out the book bench sculptures: http://www.booksabouttown.org.uk/ ,particularly the Bloomsbury Trail Map and the Agatha Christie bench. Absolutely fabulous and of course was being enjoyed by people, some knew about the competition linked with the benches and some knew about Agatha Christie as I stopped to explain why I was taking photographs.

    Great photo - it really is special seeing the bench up close!

    We're having a launch party on Saturday 26th, with costumes, Poirot and you can even meet the artists and Mathew Prichard, Agatha Christie's grandson. It starts at 1.30.

    I was hoping to join the gathering on Saturday at 1.30 but instead I shall have to be there in spirit - masquerading at my friend M. Poirot.
