Agatha Christie as "Maude?"

I just discovered that when the movie Harold and Maude was being cast, the production team thought of assorted European women to play Maude, and Agatha Christie was on the list.   (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harold_and_Maude).   Of course, it's Wikipedia, so there might be no truth in this, but if anybody can track down Nick Dawson's book Being Hal Ashby: Life of a Hollywood Rebel (2009), it'd be great to check.

I have a complete leather bound collection of agatha Christie books. including magazines with photographic descriptions of books. do you know where I could place these to sell. I no longer have the space to keep yhem. ty.

    Harold and Maude is one of my all time favourites !!! Ruth Gordon was just the right person to play Maude !!! I wonder what Agatha Christie wold have said if approached though ??
