Fontana 1980's book covers ; who was MB ?

I'm new to all of this book I have started reading and collecting Agatha's novels. I can find lots of information about Tom Adams and his work, but I have noticed a LOT of the foxtail font Fontana paperbacks of the 1980's and beyond have covers with an MB somewhere on them. Does anyone have any information on this artist as I can find nothing on the web ?
