Poem in an episode

I wonder if anyone might be able to help with a task set to me by my granddad? He's looking for the name of a poem that was recited in an episode of Poirot by what he's described as an army major? I'm afraid I don't have anything to go on apart from that; he thinks it's a famous piece of poetry. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The episode is "Problem At Sea" and it's a Rudyard Kipling poem. I don't know the name of the piece but I'll go look for it.
