A test for murder.

Have recently bought the John Creasey Mystery Magazine of October 1957. Included is the short story "A test for murder" by Agatha Christie.
I have never heard of this title, have searched Google and still no information. Can anyone offer any further information regarding this short story.

Many mystery magazines changed the titles of Christie's stories– she commented on that in one of her short stories.  Could you please provide some information, like a summary of the story, the names of the central characters, and the details of the crime (preferably without spoilers)?  If I'm correct in thinking that this is an already-known Christie story that was simply retitled, that will help me figure out which story is in your issue of JCMM.
  • I googled it. It seems it is the story called "Accident", which appears in "The Listerdale Mystery" and "The witness for the prosecution. Here is my source for the name:

That makes sense, given the scientific laboratory setting.
