    Notice in the the scene with Ratchett, Poirot is reading A Tale of Two Cities, a possible shoutout to Poirot's line in the book, "I read my Dickens."

    Thanks @GKCfan! Several things in this trailer did make me wonder - the gunshot, for example, because I thought SPOILER that Ratchett had been shot, though conceivably the gun may have been some of the passengers threatening each other. I also found it interesting how much "The Governess" reminded me of Vera Claythorne's character in And Then There Were None, especually the fact that she was young, and she thought she too would be killed...

    You're welcome, @HerculeAndAchille!  I have no idea what context the gunshot has been taken from– it could potentially be an altercation on the train, but it also could be a flashback to the kidnapping, a character's suicide, or something else.  Good point about the link to Vera!
