Does anyone know this novel/story?

Hi,

I read this short story/novel once but I can't remember which one it was. (I have read almost all books featuring Hercule Poirot.)

In this story:-

1. A bunch of five pound notes get stolen from an old lady.
2. The detective (Hercule Poirot most likely) tries to eavesdrop or peep into a room through a hole.
3. Thief turns out to be the maid's son.
4. Our detective figures this out after he/she comes across a shop which has a name that reminds him/her of a rhyme or poem.

Does anyone know which story is this? Or am I mixing up two different stories?

Cheers.

It sounds a bit like the short story "Sing A Song of Sixpence," but Poirot isn't in it.

I'd agree it's "Sing A Song of Sixpence", though I'm not sure about the bundle of five pound notes. Kanjnarayan, you might be confusing it with one of the other stories in (I think) 'The Listerdale Mystery'.
