Am I the only one who read Giant's Bread?  It's interesting because it was Christie's first published novel that wasn't about a crime.  Throughout her works, Christie had recurring themes about the creative process, art, and love gone wrong, and Giant's Bread centers around those ideas and how they affect people.
  • I read the first chapter, found it so uninteresting, that I gave up.

I will look for a copy in the states. Can't guarantee it will happen.

In America, in the early twenty-first century the six Mary Westmacott books were re-released in a pair of three-book omnibuses.  They can be bought inexpensively in used condition on Amazon and other places.
