Are you in more than 1 story?
  • Yes, my time period is before 1940.

No, I only appear in one story.

Are You Guy Pagett from The Man In The Brown Suit
  • Yes!! It's Guy Pagett. The secret is rather unusual to keep-  that he's not a bachelor

Out of curiosity, did you guess it correctly Mrs Blair?

I will have my go then,

I am a Man who never made it to the stage

    Good Luck

You never made it to the stage in the story itself?

OR You never made it to the stage as part of the story, which was not adapted for stage?

  • Tommy_A_JonesTommy_A_Jones Gloucestershire, United Kingdom
It was adapted for the stage
  • If it is in a book written before 1940 as per lachy's question above - could it be Alex Pritchard from "Why Didn't they Ask Evan's" (he being the one who in fact uttered those words just before he expired)?
  • Tommy_A_JonesTommy_A_Jones Gloucestershire, United Kingdom

    No

  • Tommy_A_JonesTommy_A_Jones Gloucestershire, United Kingdom
Asfar as I can remember Why Didn't They Ask Evans was not made into a Play
  • LL88LL88 Sofiya, Bulgaria
Just to confirm: Are you a man who wanted to be an actor?
  • Tommy_A_JonesTommy_A_Jones Gloucestershire, United Kingdom

I am a Man, I don't think he had aspirations to be an Actor though.

  • Tommy_A_JonesTommy_A_Jones Gloucestershire, United Kingdom

It was Published After The War

  • Tommy_A_JonesTommy_A_Jones Gloucestershire, United Kingdom

I got confused. You are a man who did not want to be an actor, but you did not make it to stage.
By stage, do you mean theater, podium, camera or scene?
  • Tommy_A_JonesTommy_A_Jones Gloucestershire, United Kingdom

The Theatre, Think about the Plays and how they Differ from the Book They are adapted from

  • LL88LL88 Sofiya, Bulgaria
So, you are someone who was in a book, but not present in the stage adaptation of that book?
  • Tommy_A_JonesTommy_A_Jones Gloucestershire, United Kingdom
    I Thought that was Obvious
  • LL88LL88 Sofiya, Bulgaria
    I Thought that was Obvious
Not for me. :D I thought more about a character who studied to be working on stage, but did not have the chance to (was murdered for example).
Are you a major character in the book?
  • Tommy_A_JonesTommy_A_Jones Gloucestershire, United Kingdom
Sorry for being Grumpy yesterday Lyubmir, It was unforgivable, In Answer to your Question Yes.
  • LL88LL88 Sofiya, Bulgaria

Sorry for being Grumpy yesterday Lyubmir, It was unforgivable, In Answer to your Question Yes.
:D But this gives me an idea for a story. :D
Anyway, there is one more question:

    lachy.a.w said:
    Poirot?

But I am not sure if I will be able to continue anymore. I have not watched any adaptations. :)
  • Tommy_A_JonesTommy_A_Jones Gloucestershire, United Kingdom
It isn't Poirot and we aren't talking about the TV Adaptations, This Man was a Character in a Book but when AC Made it into a Play This Character was replaced by someone else
  • Any other clues Tommy?
  • Ok let's hit this one. You are a major character but somehow, was omitted for the stage. Can you confirm that you are not the murderer?
  • I have just realised that my question was not great! So I retract and ask if you are an investigator of the murder.
  • Tommy_A_JonesTommy_A_Jones Gloucestershire, United Kingdom
The answer to your 2nd question Mrs Blair is yes
  • MariaMaria Pichincha, Ecuador
Do you appear in just one AC story or novel?
  • Tommy_A_JonesTommy_A_Jones Gloucestershire, United Kingdom
Yes as far as I can remwmber
