    2) They were 'rows' of things and should have been interpreted phonetically ie as a reference to a Rose. Combine this with the decoded letter that mentions Richmond (a variety of red rose) and you get pointed in the right direction to dig.

    4) The name on the boat is 'Waterlily' - a character/role which the murderer had previously danced and also a play on the murdered child's name (Lily Waters)
